The race is included in the UISP Viterbo Provincial Race Circuit named "17th CorrinTuscia 2019", also valid for the "10th AVIS Trophy".

Terms of Participation:
Who can take part in the event:

• all Italian or foreign athletes residing in Italy enrolled for current sport season to an Italian sports club affiliated to FIDAL, UISP, to another affiliated Sports Promotion federation, or in possession of RunCard, in compliance with the medical certificate of competitive athletics.

• all non-registered foreign athletes residing abroad in possession of a suitable Health Form (download here the document) compiled by a competent doctor from the country of origin.

• participation is open to all those born in the year 2001 and earlier.

 

Partecipation pack
Technical shirt, plus other products and gadgets guaranteed to the first 1000 athletes regularly registered for the event.
Finisher medal for all classified.

Entry fees:

• € 18 for registrations received and paid until December 31st, 2018;

• € 20 for registrations received and paid from January 01st, 2019 to February 28th, 2019;

• € 23 for registrations received and paid between 1st March, 2019 and 31st March, 2019;

• € 25 for registrations received and paid between April 01st, 2019 and April 23rd, 2019;

• € 30 for registrations received and paid on April 24th, 2019 during the delivery of the bibs and on April until 09:00am.

 

NOTE: the fee for registrations received before 04/23/2019, but not paid according to the above steps, will be  € 30 and will be possible to pay the registration on April 24th and 25th,  2019, subject to availability of bib numbers.

The entry fees are not refundable under any circumstances. The athletes registered but unable to participate can transfer the registration to 2020 edition upon notice to the Organizing Committee, by and no later than 20th April 2019. Alternatively, it will be possible to participate in another competition organized by the RSDP (see calendar published on the site www.ipresidi.it ) prior communication via email to info@ipresidi.it . In this case you will not be entitled to the race package of the current edition.

Free registration for disabled athletes and their driving athlete.

How to register:

• Online, after registering on the site www.girodellalaguna.com, filling out the form in the section: Iscrizioni-Iscrizione individuale and making the payment by credit card.

• By e-mail, sending the registration form completed and signed in its entirety, to the address iscrizioni@ipresidi.it, together with the receipt of payment of the relative entry fee and copy of the medical certificate (download here the document);

• Sports clubs can register for their members by downloading and sending the form reserved for them (download here the document)

At the time of registration, participants in the COMPETITIVE RACE must attach a copy of the ATHLETICS MEDICAL CERTIFICATE FOR AGONISTIC, valid at 25th April, 2019, or a signed substitute declaration of the Chairman of their own running team (or by the athlete himself in the absence) to protect the insurance-sanitary regulations, paying € 3.00 for the next check.

 

ANY REGISTRATION OF ATHLETES NOT COMPLIANT WITH "TERMS of PARTICIPATION" WILL NOT ACCEPT, WITH "ATHLETICS MEDICAL CERTIFICATIONS" AND WITHOUT "RECEIPT OF PAYMENT".

 

Payment:

• Cash: it will be possible to pay cash at the official registration point; for the registrations received but not payed before 23rd April, 2019, the amount af cash payment will be € 30.00 (subject to availability of bib numbers). It will be also possible to register for the race on 24th  and 25th April,2019  at a cost of € 30.00 (subject to availability of bibs);

• Credit Card: filling out the form provided on the website www.girodellalaguna.com

• Credit Card or Paypal: by filling out the form provided on the MySdam Toscana Timing website www.mysdam.net

Bip numbers, chips and packs will be given in the following ways:

• Wednesday, April 24th, 2019 in Orbetello, c / o Parco delle Crociere from 3:00PM to 7:00PM

• Thursday April 25th, 2019, day of the race, near the meeting / departure area, Orbetello, c / o Parco delle Crociere from 07:30AM to 09:00AM

 

Each participant will receive an envelope with bib number and chip. Please, check they  match the same number.

The bib number is strictly personal (it can’t be transferred to another competitor), it can’t be tampered with, cut, altered; it must be clearly visible and is not transferable to anyone; the bib number must be applied with the appropriate pins, in its entirety. Failure to meet these provisions will result in the immediate exclusion of the competitor from the race ranking.

The race chip is strictly personal (it can’t be transferred to another competitor). Its recommended to follow carefully the instructions included in the package.

Failure or incorrect use of the chip will result in non-inclusion in the ranking and non-allocation of the race time.
NO CHIP, NO TIME.

Timekeeping system:
The race will be timed by electronic chip provided by MySDAM Toscana Timing. Each competitor will receive a "daily" chip to be returned at the end of the race. The chip must be returned to the staff  in the start race area, even for retired or athletes that did not start the race. Chip must be returned at the end of the race and not later than 25th April, 2019 by closing time to the public of the event.

Men: A (born from 1990 to 2001), B (born from 1985 to 1989), C (born from 1980 to 1984), D (born from 1975 to 1979), E (born from 1970 to 1974), F (born from 1965 to 1969), G (born between 1960 and 1964), H (born between 1955 and 1959), I (born between 1950 and 1954), L (born in 1949 and earlier)

Women: M (born between 1985 and 2001), N (born between 1975 and 1984), O (born between 1965 and 1974), P (born in 1964 and earlier)

 

Awards:
The Official Awards Ceremony will start at 12:00AM.
Rewards:

• •    the first 5 male and female absolute and

• •    the first 10 male and female classified of each category for age group provided for by this regulation.

 

The absolute and category prizes, from 1 to 10, are  fresh and/or processed food products, or sports technical material at the discretion of Organizing Committee. The Organizing Committee will be able to increase the prizes provided with special prizes (at the sole discretion of the Organizing Committee itself) or with additional category prizes (according to the procedures defined by the Organizing Committee).

The first 3 classified absolute men and women will receive the race souvenir plate.

Warning: THE AWARDS WILL BE GIVEN EXCLUSIVELY TO THE WINNERS IN THE COURSE OF THE OFFICIAL AWARD CEREMONY THAT WILL BE CARRIED OUT AT THE END OF THE COMPETITION. PRIZES NOT RETRIVED BY WINNERS DURING THE AWARD CEREMONY, WILL NOT BE GIVEN TO DIRECTORS, SUPPORTS, TEAM COMPANIES AND SIMILAR, NOR
SHIPPED TO THE WINNERS ADDRESS. NO COMMUNICATION WRITTEN OR VERBAL WILL BE MADE TO THE WINNERS IN CASE OF NON-WITHDRAWAL OF PRIZE.

 
AVIS Trophy
The competition is valid for the half-marathon AVIS Città di Orbetello trophy. Participation in the AVIS trophy is free. The ranking will be drawn up among all those who, upon registration, will declare to be donors by indicating the AVIS card number on the registration form.
The first 3 Absolute Men and Women will be awarded.

All athletes will be able to use toilets, changing rooms and showers at the nearby sports facilities.

 

Responsability Declaration:
By registering for the "Race around the Lagoon - Orbetello Half Marathon 2019" and/or all the collateral events, all competitors must declare

• to know and respect the rules of the event published on the site, according to current regulations;

• that they are in possession of the medical certificate of competitive sports suitability valid as of 25th April, 2019, and present it together with the registration form;

• o be aware that participating in the "Race around the Lagoon - Orbetello Half Marathon 2019" and / or at sporting events in general is potentially an activity at risk;

• to register voluntarily and assume all the risks deriving from their participation in the event: falls, contacts with vehicles, with other participants, spectators or other, weather condition including torrid heat, extreme cold and/or wet, traffic and conditions of the road, every type of risk well known and evaluated

Being aware of the above, considering the acceptance of registration, all competitors, on their behalf and in the interest of no one else, relieves and frees the Organizing Committee of the "Race around the Lagoon - Orbetello Half Marathon 2019", the A.S.D. G. S. Reale Stato dei Presidi, the Municipal Administration of Orbetello, the Provincial Administration of Grosseto, the Regional Administration of Tuscany, all sponsors of the event, the UISP Provincial Committee of Grosseto, the UISP Provincial Committee of Viterbo, the respective representatives, successors, officers, directors, members, agents and employees of the aforementioned Companies, of all present and future links or responsibilities of any kind, known or unknown, deriving from my participation in the event.

Once the registration to the "Race around the Lagoon - Orbetello Half Marathon 2019" is accepted, the participation fee is not refundable, even in case of cancellation. All competitors grant their permission to all the entities listed to use photographs, tapes, videos, images in the media, websites and other media and anything related to my participation in the event for any legitimate use without remuneration.

Privacy and Image right:

Pursuant to EU regulation n. 2016/679 ("GDPR"), before registration, the athlete is required to read the documentation regarding the protection of privacy available on the website, and to express his consent to the processing personal data in the manner provided. The data provided will be processed in compliance with the rules set by EU regulation no. 2016/679, and used exclusively for the purposes set out in the information notice published on the website www.girodellalaguna.com.

By registering for the "Race around the Lagoon - Orbetello Half Marathon 2019", the athlete expressly authorizes the organizing company, together with the legal entities with whom it maintains professional and commercial relationships related to the image of the event, to the acquisition free of the right to use the images, fixed and moving, on which it will appear on the occasion of its participation in the competition, on all visual media as well as on promotional and / or advertising materials produced and disseminated worldwide and all the time maximum required by the laws, regulations, treaties in force, including any extension that may be made to the expected period.  

 

General notes:
Checks will be numerous and strict: the competitors who did not pass the fixed controls provided by the organization and the competitors who arrived at the finish line  without the bib number and chip provided by the organization and/or chip incorrectly positioned as per instructions given will not be classified and will not be entitled to the prize.

The organization, although predisposing what has been established in the R.O. relating to road events, declines any responsibility for accidents that occurred to people or things, before, during and after the race.

Medical assistance will be prepared by the Organizing Committee.
Assistance along the routes beyond the maximum time provided by the organization will not be guaranteed. Please note that athletes must respect the art.190 of the highway code in the sections of the route open to traffic.

It is mandatory to follow the indications and instructions of the organizers without abandoning the route.

For the non-competitive walk, the non-competitive nature of the event, complaints will not be accepted.

The event will take place in all kind of weather conditions.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to modify the present regulations at any time for reasons that it considers appropriate for a better organization of competition. For what is not foreseen in these official rules, the FIDAL technical standards, the rules of the Technical Device of the Regional UISP Toscana Society and Individual Half Marathon, the UISP and the current federal regulations are valid.

 

Any changes to services, places and times will be appropriately communicated to registered athletes or will be reported on the website www.girodellalaguna.com. Moreover, the documentation containing the essential information to take part in the competition will be delivered by the organization together with the bib number.
